Dances Like Sun

As a young girl,
She moved as though no one was watching.
She loved the stage.
She loved the spotlight.
Her friend, so dear
Was always by her side,
Until she went away,
Then her feet suddenly stopped.
For years she went,
With something missing inside.
Until a solution aroused,
Needed was a girl to fill up a class.
She gave it a chance,
And once again fell in love.
But dancers were dropping,
To the floor like bugs.
On the stage, she danced so strong.
The light shining off her,
saving the day,
This is where she belongs.

Her act of bravery, gave here the name,
Dances like Sun, that is her name.
